Go On, Admitted It

Jesus is not a crutch; He’s the whole hospital!

  • He can repair your brokenness.
  • He can heal your diseases.
  • He can transplant your sinful heart.
  • He can breathe new life into your lungs.
  • He can straighten and strengthen your spine.
  • He can bring sight to the blind.
  • He can revive your very soul.

We just have to be ‘admitted’ into His care; no longer getting ‘outpatient’ care, no longer using God like a bandaid that we later rip off once the healing has begun. He is not a crutch that we set aside once our walk has improved; He’s the entire hospital of care, of nurturing, of restoration… Psalm 103:3, states; “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases“. But, we cannot keep bypassing this hospital, this plethora of healing, we must be admitted into His care.

Sure, you may have ‘tried’ to surrender to His care, or played the spiritual role for a time, or maybe you are just too ‘self sufficient’ and too stubborn to trust Him. James 4:2 reminds us that; “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.” That ‘asking’ part is when/where you get admitted into His care, when/where you trust Him for His healing and nurturing care, when/where our transformation begins.

We only need to ask. He does not force Himself into our lives, rather, He waits. Matthew 7:7 even tells us that we are to; “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you“. Please don’t keep that crutch in the closet ‘just in case’… trust in Him with all your life. Go on, be admitted to it.
